Translating Luther into Chinese
About This Episode
Since the 1990s, the LCMS along with Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, has been working with numerous partners to translate Martin Luther’s Works into the Chinese language. Right now, four volumes are already in print and available for purchase around the world, including China. The fifth volume is currently in production.
Recently, we talked with Rev. Dr. Henry Rowold, one of the key proponents in getting this project in the works. In this, our longest podcast to date, Dr. Rowold digs deep in the work of translating Martin Luther into Chinese.
